The Sport Wales Energy Saving Grant helps not-for-profit sports clubs and community organisations reduce energy costs and improve sustainability.
Clubs across Wales can apply for funding of up to £25,000 to invest in energy-saving improvements such as solar panels, battery storage, LED lighting and insulation.
Since launching, the scheme has already helped hundreds of clubs reduce their running costs and become more energy efficient.

Who Can Apply
The grant qualification criteria.
✅ Be a not-for-profit sports club or community organisation
✅ Own the building or have at least 7 years remaining lease
✅ Not have started the project yet
✅ Be able to contribute at least 20% of project cost
✅ Complete the project within 12 months
The Energy Saving Grant typically opens for applications in late spring, and funding is limited. We recommend preparing early to improve your chances of securing funding.
